On the occasion of the visit to the Federal Republic of Germany by H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Vice Minister for Foreign Affair of Thailand, he participated in a political dialogue forum, co-organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin, Asienbrücke e.V., and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), entitled “Forging Future Partnerships: Thailand and Germany – Promoting Stability, Trade, and Sustainable Growth in the Indo-Pacific”, held on 20 May 2026 in Berlin. H.E. Mr. Chittipat Tongprasroeth, Ambassador of Thailand to Berlin, also attended the event.

The Vice Foreign Minister delivered a keynote speech together with H.E. Mr. Florian Hahn, Minister of State of the Federal Foreign Office, at the opening followed by a panel discussion.  

The forum emphasized a shared vision between Thailand and Germany in advancing stability and security in the Indo-Pacific region, strengthening economic cooperation and investment, enhancing resilient and sustainable supply chains and connectivity, as well as promoting collaboration in innovation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and green energy. The panelists also expressed support to negotiations of the Thai–EU FTA and reaffirmed commitment to a rules-based international order.
