On 22 August 2025, Ambassador Chittipat Tongprasroeth paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Andrew Mitchell CMG, Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Germany, at the British Ambassador’s Residence. Both sides discussed a wide range of issues, including the importance of strengthening partnerships with countries in the Indo-Pacific region  and  the Russia-Ukraine situation.

On this occasion, Ambassador Chittipat reaffirmed the close ties between Thailand and the United Kingdom, which mark the 170th anniversary this year. The two countries elevated their relations to a Strategic Partnership in 2024. In addition, Ambassador Chittipat provided an updated and factual account on the Thai-Cambodian border situation to Ambassador Mitchell.
