On 8 August 2025, Ambassador Chittipat Tongprasroeth paid a courtesy call on H.E. Dr. Mohamed Abd El-Sattar Elbadri, Ambassador of Egypt to Germany. They exchanged views on ongoing geopolitical, and the situation and Germany’s roles in the Middle East. They also discussed various aspects of Thai–Egyptian relations, with particular emphasis on people-to-people connections. Ambassador Chittipat highlighted that Egypt is the country with the largest number of Thai Muslim students pursuing their studies and he also provided updated developments on the Thai-Cambodian border situation.
