On 13 August 2025, Ambassador Chittipat Tongprasroeth paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Francisco José Quiroga Fernández, Ambassador of Mexico to Germany as Chair of the Latin American and Caribbean countries in Berlin. They exchanged views on German politics and the roles of Germany and its allies in the Russia–Ukraine conflict. The Ambassador highlighted that this year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Mexico which are celebrated by both side through various cultural events. In addition, the Ambassador took this opportunity to update Ambassador Francisco on the Thailand–Cambodia border situation, Thailand’s position and the way forward.
