Ambassador of Thailand to the Federal Republic of Germany paid a courtesy call to State Secretary and Plenipotentiary of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg to the Federal Government, the European Union, and Foreign Affairs.

On 19 March 2026, H.E Mr. Chittipat Tongprasroeth, Ambassador of Thailand to the Federal Republic of Germany, paid a courtesy call on Ms. Liv Assmann, State Secretary and Plenipotentiary of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg to the Federal Government, the European Union, and Foreign Affairs, at Hamburg State Representation Office in Berlin.

Both sides discussed the overall long-standing relationship between Thailand and Hamburg, which has been continuously strengthened through cooperation. Ambassador also provided the overview of the activities organised by the Royal Thai Embassy which aimed at promoting collaboration in new areas of mutual interest, such as the energy transition, youth exchanges, and city-level cooperation. In addition, there was discussion on inviting delegation from Hamburg to visit Thailand to explore future opportunities for cooperation.
