The Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin is deeply saddened by the tragic incident that occurred during the Christopher Street Day (CSD) celebrations in Berlin on 25 July 2026.

On behalf of the people of Thailand, we extend our deepest condolences to the family of the victim and wish a full and speedy recovery to those injured.

We stand in solidarity with the German authorities, the LGBTQIA+ community, and all those affected by this heartbreaking tragedy. Christopher Street Day represents diversity, equality, inclusion, and human dignity. It is deeply distressing that such a horrific act of violence occurred during a peaceful celebration of these shared values.

Thailand unequivocally condemns all forms of violence and reaffirms its commitment to promoting tolerance, mutual respect, and the protection of human dignity. Our thoughts are with the people of Berlin during this difficult time.
