เมื่อวันที่ 6 กุมภาพันธ์ 2567 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเบอร์ลิน ร่วมกับองค์กร Agora Verkehrswende จัดงานสัมมนา “Talking Transport Transformation Electric Mobility in Thailand and Germany Joining Forces for Climate neutral Mobility” ณ โรงแรม H10 กรุงเบอร์ลิน เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลและแนวทางดำเนินงาน ระหว่างผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ผู้กำหนดนโยบาย และเอกชนด้าน E-Mobility รวมทั้งแสวงหาโอกาสความร่วมมือ และหารือด้านโยบายในการสนับสนุนและส่งเสริม E-Mobility โดยมีผู้เข้าร่วมงานกว่า 40 คน รวมทั้งมีการเข้าร่วมงานสัมมนาฯ ผ่านระบบออนไลน์กว่า 70 คน

นายณัฐวัฒน์ กฤษณามระ เอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงเบอร์ลิน ได้กล่าวเปิดงานสัมมนา โดยย้ำถึงความเป็นหุ้นส่วนระหว่างไทยและเยอรมนีเพื่อการบรรลุเป้าหมายการลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจกและการค้าการลงทุน โดยเฉพาะในภาคการขนส่งที่มุ่งส่งเสริมการพัฒนารถยนต์ไฟฟ้าซึ่งไทยเป็นศูนย์กลางการผลิตรถยนต์ไฟฟ้าของภูมิภาค โดยสถานเอกอัครราชทูตฯ ได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรร่วมบรรยายภายในงานสัมมนา ได้แก่ (1) นาย Christian Hochfeld ผู้อำนวยการองค์กร Agora Verkehrswende (2)  นางสาวนารีรัตน์ พันธุ์มณี ผู้อำนวยการกองประสานการจัดการการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศ กรมการเปลี่ยนแปลงสภาพภูมิอากาศและสิ่งแวดล้อม (3) ดร. ยศพงษ์ ลออนวล ผู้ช่วยอธิการบดีฝ่ายพัฒนาความยั่งยืน มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี (4) ดร. Dominika Kalinowska ผู้อำนวยการโครงการด้านขนส่ง GIZ (5) นาย Markus Becker กระทรวงเศรษฐกิจและการดำเนินการด้านสภาพภูมิอากาศเยอรมนี (6) ดร. อัครินทร์ สุวรรณรัตน์ ผู้ช่วยประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหาร บริษัท Energy Absolute จำกัด (มหาชน) และ (7) นาย Alex Kaltwasser บริษัท BMW

ประเทศไทยมุ่งผลักดันการพัฒนาประเทศสู่สังคมคาร์บอนต่ำ (Low-carbon Society) และมีเป้าหมายเปลี่ยนผ่านสู่พลังงานสะอาด โดยเฉพาะภาคการขนส่งตามนโยบาย 30@30 ที่จะเป็นฐานการผลิตยานยนต์ไฟฟ้าและชิ้นส่วนที่สำคัญของโลก และ EV Hub ให้ได้อย่างน้อยร้อยละ 30 ของการผลิตยานยนต์ทั้งหมดภายในปี 2573 (ค.ศ. 2030)

On February 6, 2024, the Royal Thai Embassy in Berlin, in collaboration with Agora Verkehrswende, hosted the hybrid seminar "Talking Transport Transformation: Electric Mobility in Thailand and Germany - Joining Forces for Climate-neutral Mobility" at the H10 Hotel in Berlin. The event enabled a good exchange and discussion on opportunities and challenges in sustainable transport, gathering experts, policymakers, and private sector representatives from the E-Mobility sector in both Thailand and Germany. The seminar brought together 40 participants, representing the public sector, private sector, and research institutions as well as over 70 virtual attendees who participated through an online platform.

Mr. Nadhavathna Krishnamra, Ambassador of Thailand to Germany joined Mr. Christian Hochfeld, the Director of Agora Verkehrswende, in delivering the opening remarks, emphasizing Thailand's commitment to transitioning towards a low-carbon society and clean energy through sustainable transport. Distinguished speakers included, Ms. Nareerat Panmanee, Director of the Strategy and International Cooperation Division at the Department of Climate Change and Environment, Dr. Yossapong Laoonual, Associate Professor of Mechanical Engineering at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), Dr. Dominika Kalinowska, Director of Transport Projects Thailand at GIZ, Mr. Markus Becker from the Climate Protection and Transport Unit at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, and Dr. Akarin Suwannarat, Executive Vice President and Special Assistant to the CEO at Energy Absolute PCL.

Thailand has set a roadmap with the target for electric vehicles (EVs) to make up at least 30% of all vehicles produced in the country by the year 2030. Thailand’s comprehensive EV promotion policy encompasses plans for battery manufacturing and development and the establishment of supporting infrastructures for EV.
